Aryan Vaid (born July 4, 1974) won the Mr. India pageant and the Mister International 2000. He was the first Indian to win the Mister International award. He hails from Mumbai and has been voted as the sexiest man in India.

He is one of the most sought after Indian male super models. He is a qualified chef and a lifestyle columnist with The Hindustan Times. He has been actively involved with theatre and has done a few street plays at the Prithvi theatre in Mumbai. It was during one of these plays that he was offered a role in the TV serial Campus. He has acted in a number of Bollywood movies, after debuting in Be-lagaam 2002 in the role of an inspector.

He was a housemate on Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother, currently being produced by Endemol India for Sony Entertainment Television.

After debuting in movies like 'Market' and 'Chahat' Aryan's journey into Bollywood was not rosy. May be his strategy to cash in the 'Mr. International' title backfired. More than the actor's work it was his well toned bare body that made news. More than his acting prowess his on screen love making skills in Chahat and other B-grade flicks garneres him the title of Sex God of Bollywood.

His nude photos that circulated the net consolidated his position as sexy stud. His photo with hands inside the hot pants and covering his 'asset' invited a lot of gay relations in the Bollywood. Aryan seems to have enjoyed that alternate sexuality adulation and later came with the statement that he is happy being a 'Gay Icon'.

On the show Bigg Boss, model Anupama Verma and Aryan had developed a relationship. Aryan was supposedly madly in love with Anupama and was very emotional when they parted when he got evicted from the show before Anupama.

In the final episode of the show, it was discovered that the beautiful relationship that started on the show could not last in the real world. An emotional Anupama said that Aryan was not the same person outside and she could not relate to him anymore.
